I teach WSET up to Level 3, focusing on clear structure in tasting, theory and exam technique. In 2024, one of my Level 3 students achieved Top Student in the UK.
Alongside WSET, I am also an accredited Rioja educator, with my profile listed on the official Rioja Wine Academy website.

Why VelvetWine

VelvetWine was created to publish clear, well-researched wine education, without unnecessary complexity. The focus is on winegrowing and winemaking approaches rooted in responsible farming and thoughtful production, including organic, biodynamic and other low-intervention practices.
The aim is understanding, not opinion for its own sake.
